Fenomena Karakter Remaja Sma Kota Pontianak Dan Kajian Pada Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (Rebt) Multikultural

Abstract

Perkembangan karakter remaja SMA Kota Pontianak saat ini menampilkan karakter yang bertentangan dengan budaya ketimuran. Tujuan pembahasan artikel ini ialah mendeskripsikan karakter remaja yang seringkali meniru tokoh idola dari media social layaknya gaya hidup Korea, Jepang dan haya hidup Hedon bermewah mewahan. Remaja membuat budaya sendiri yang bertentangan dengan budaya kolektif dan standard moral, religious dan social budaya yang ada. Rekonstruksi kognitif pada REBT membimbing individu agar dapat menyusun dan memaknai kembali dalam studut pandang Rasional, bahwa kebudayaan asli memberikan pesan lewat nilai nilai kebaikan, ketertiban, nilai adat dan nilai religious, nilai moral sebagai pedoman hidup individu sehingga bersikap baik. Mengagumi kebudayaan lain tanpa mengabaikan nilai budaya asli, karena budaya mempengaruhi karakter asli individu. Individu memiliki kemampuan menyeleksi budaya lain untuk dipelajari,dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan budaya asli yang sesuai dengan identitas daerah.

Abstract


The development of the character of high school adolescents in the city of Pontianak currently displays characters that are contrary to eastern culture. The purpose of the discussion of this article is to describe the character of adolescents who often imitate idol figures from social media like the Korean, Japanese lifestyle and Hedon's life is luxuriously endowed. Teenagers create their own culture that is contrary to the collective culture and existing moral, religious and social cultural standards. Cognitive reconstruction in REBT guides individuals to be able to formulate and reinterpret in Rational's viewpoint, that indigenous culture gives a message through the values ??of good values, order, customary values ??and religious values, moral values ??as individual life guidelines so that they behave well. Admire other cultures without ignoring the value of indigenous culture, because culture influences the original character of individuals. Individuals have the ability to select other cultures to learn, and contribute to the development of indigenous cultures that are in accordance with regional identity.
