Strategi Pengembangan Motorik Anak Usia 5-8 Tahun dan Penanaman Karakter Tanggung Jawab Melalui Tari Nawung Sekar

Abstract

Kematangan kemampuan motorik anak usia 5-6 tahun berpengaruh pada perkembangan kemampuan anak secara keseluruhan bahkan di jaman teknologi digital saat ini. Munculnya budaya baru, yang popular dengan nama stay connecting yaitu saat anak menjadi tidak banyak bergerak dan berinteraksi sosial secara nyata dikarenakan setiap pemenuhan kebutuhan sudah dipenuhi oleh teknologi.Fakta budaya baru tersebut menimbulkan permaslahan tidak adanya kegiatan yang mampu menstimulasi kemampuan motorik anak sekaligus mampu menanamkan karakter tanggung jawab menjadi isu yang diangkat pada penelitian ini. Maka metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis digunakan sebagai cara untuk mengurai permaslahan yang ada. Subyek penelitian adalah anak perempuan usia 5-8 tahun yang berlatih tari Nawung Sekar di Yayasan Pamulangan Beksa Sasmita Mardawa Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa stimulsi kemampuan motorik anak usia 5-8 tahun mampu terstimulasi dengan baik sekaligus dari proses belajar mengajar tari Nawung Sekar yang dilakukan secara kontinyu dan berkesinambungan mampu menanamkan karakter tanggung jawab. Karakter tersebut muncul dikarenakan adanya pola pembiasaan yang terus-menerus dilakukan selama kurun waktu 1 semester.


Maturity of motoric of children aged 5-6 years affects the overall development of children's abilities even in the era of digital technology today. The emergence of a new culture, popularly known as stay connecting, is when children become less mobile and have real social interaction because every fulfillment of their needs has been met by technology. This new cultural fact raises the problem of the absence of activities that are able to stimulate a child's motor skills while being able to instill the character of responsibility into an issue raised in this study. Then the qualitative method with a phenomenological approach is used as a way to parse the existing problems. The subjects of the study were girls aged 5-8 years who practiced the Nawung Sekar dance at the Pamulang Beksa Foundation, Sasmita Mardawa, Yogyakarta. The results of this study indicate that the stimulation of motor skills of children aged 5-8 years can be stimulated well as well as the learning process of Nawung Sekar dance which is carried out continuously and continuously capable of instilling the character of responsibility. The character arises because of the pattern of habituation that is continuously carried out over a period of 1 semester
